To ensure our clients receive the highest quality service possible from our team, we limit the number of students we work with each year. We are an extremely hands-on team who believes we can only ensure our services by trusting our clients with ourselves. Seeing our clients succeed in the early stages of their lives in America is what we aim to enable.

How We Identify Our Clients

The majority of our clients are referred to us by colleagues in the greater China area. If you anticipate studying abroad in the future and you have not been recommended to us personally, we encourage you to reach out to us as early as possible to see if we are able to accommodate you and your needs.

Our Process

Discovery

After your referral, we will have a video-based meeting on WeChat, Zoom, or Voov Meeting to get to know each other. Clients’ parents are encouraged to join the call to ask questions and to get to know the Damerow Consulting team members on the call. We will discuss the school you will be attending and the area in which you will be leaving. If you have not yet enrolled at a school, we can discuss the options you are exploring.

Service

We will review the services our team will offer you. They include the following:

• Airport Reception: Pickup from the airport and transportation to your dormitory, apartment, or hotel, if accommodations are still being considered.
• Campus Navigation: We work with your university’s staff in advance of your arrival, so that you know how to navigate the different buildings you will utilize, including your classrooms, library, sports facilities, auditoriums, and so on.
• Local Stores: Maximizing all your local community has to offer can only add to your enjoyment and comfort throughout your study abroad experience. We take you to local grocery stores, shopping malls, restaurants, and so on, in order for your city to start to feel like home sooner than later.
• Tailored to Suit You: We will work with you in advance of your arrival to sort any custom needs you may have. Do you have any special medical needs? Do you love mountain biking? Are you a movie fanatic? Whatever it is, we can help you hit the ground running in your new life away from home.

Agreement

If you are happy with the direction of our services and we determine we are a fit for each other, we will ask you to sign an agreement to guarantee our collaboration together. From this point forward, you are under our care.

Our team will continue to work with you to set a schedule for our service performance period. We will confirm the school you will be attending and will work with your school’s team ahead of your arrival to the States. We will put together a detailed schedule to satisfy our services. It is imperative that our communication is timely and thorough, so that your expectations and ours are met smoothly. 

Before Your Arrival

Arrival & Performance

Upon your arrival to the States, we will perform our services for you. Each of the activities we worked out in advance will be completed. We know you will be tired from your long journey to the States, so when you need a coffee, consider it done. This is the fun part – we’ve got your back!

We will spend three days together in total, with the first day being the day we pick you up at the airport. During this period, there will be plenty of time for us to accomplish everything we planned for and for you to feel settled in your new environment.
